HOMEROOM TEACHER Job Description WISE is looking for new homeroom teachers! This position is in our middle/high school program, working with students grades 6-12. This is a full-time teaching position. Our homeroom teachers teach a part-time schedule (14-16 periods per week), and are also responsible for maintaining communication with their homeroom class, their homeroom students‘ parents, and the subject teachers that teach their homeroom students. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for this role. Homeroom teachers should be prepared to teach their own classes within our middle or high school program. Potential subjects include math, science, social studies, English, foreign languages (Japanese/Korean/Spanish), business, and Chinese as a Second Language, depending on teacher background and qualifications.
